agree vi.  同意，答应。  常用搭配：

agree with sb. (表示同意某人的意见)  e.g: I agree with you.

agree to do sth. (后跟表示提议、办法、计划的词)  e.g: He agrees to go with me. agree on (后跟具体的协议，计划)

e.g: We all agree on this plan. agree that 从句

e.g: They agreed that I was right.

2. send and receive e-mails

receive 意为“收到”，其固定短语 receive…from。

1) receive和accept都可表示“收到，接受”，但receive仅是表示收到，接不接受是另一回事，而accept表示确切的“接受”。

Receive只表示被动地收到。  E.g:She has received his present, but she will not accept it.  I received an invitation from him but I don’t want to accept it.

2) accept多指接受抽象的东西，如想法、表扬、批评、道歉等。receive多是接受实际的东西，如信件、礼物等。如：

I accepted your mind.  我接受你的想法。

I received a letter from him.  我收到了吉姆的来信。

3) 表示“接见;接待”时，要用receive而不用accept。如： She was warmly received.   她受到热情款待。
