On a Friday night，a poor young violinist was playing his violin at the entrance of the subway station.The music was so great that people slowed down to listen and put some money into his hat.

The next day，the violinist came to the entrance again.He put down his hat as usual. Beside the hat was a piece of paper with some words on it.It said，“A George Sang has put an important thing into my hat by mistake.Welcome to claim(认领)it.”Soon the people were all attracted by the words and wondered what it could be.After a while a man rushed through the crowd，took the violinist’s shoulders and said，“I knew you would certainly come here.”The violinist asked，“Did you lose something?” “Lottery(彩票) ”The violinist took out a lottery ticket with Sang’s name on it.Sang took it and danced happily.

A mother camel was walking with her son through the desert(沙漠). They were looking for water and grass.

The son asked his mother what water and grass looked like. The mother replied that water was blue and looked like the sky, while grass was green and nice.

After they had walked a day and a night, her son suddenly cried, “Look, mother, there is water and grass over there.”

It is well known that everyone has his own dream as well as his own future. But do you know what future really is ? I have to say that future is now. That is to say we must treasure every minute now. If we want to have a bright future, we should know how important time is and use it well.

There is an old English saying: “Gain time, gain life.” Then what’s time? Time is something that we can’t see or touch, but we can feel it passing by. Time is always with us. When we are at table, time passes; when we play, time goes by unnoticeable. So, some of us even say time is priceless(无价的).
