教师出示图片,创设情景,复习一般过去时被动语态的用法。激发学生的兴趣,培养学生的口语表达能力,为导入新课作准备。
(利用实物或图片,以师生问答形式复习一般过去时的被动语态及重要词组和句型。)
T: How are you, boys and girls?
Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?
T: I’m very well. So far, we have learned something about the new technology and inventions in the world. Do you remember them all?
Ss: Yes, we have learned the light bulb, the car, the cellphone, TV set, the digital camera, the MP3 player …

T: Very clever. Please look at the picture. What’s this in English?
S1: It is an MP3.
T: What’s it used for?
S2: It’s used for listening to music.
T: What’s it made of?
S3: It’s made of plastic.
T: Where was it invented?
S4: It was invented in Korea.
T: When was it invented?
S5: It was invented in 1998.
T: OK, very good.
