I、Class Opening and Review (开始上课与复习):

I ) Greetings(问候) :

T:Good morning , boys and girls.

C:Good morning , teacher .

T:How are you ?

C:Fine , thank you . And you ?

T: I’m fine , too . Sit down , please .

II、Free Talk (谈话)

T:What day is today ?

S1:It’s Wednesday , April twelfth.

T:How’s the weather today ?

S2:It’s sunny .

III、Review and Sing an English Song(复习、唱英文歌曲)

T:Ok . First let’s sing a song .

II、Key Concepts(主要内容):

I )Introduction(导入):

T :(The teacher turns off the radio.)All of you sing very well. Do you like to listen to the music ?

S : Yes .

T : Now let’s listen to some music. When you are listening, please tell me what musical instruments make the music ?(listen to the music)

T : Oh , listen ! It’s music . It’s the music making by a ____ .

S : Gangqin .

( The teacher turns off the music .)

A ) new words : piano  violin  guitar(新单词:钢琴、小提琴、吉他)

T : Yes , you are right .It’s a piano .(The teacher sticks the picture of the piano . ) piano .

C : Piano .

(The teacher write the words on the blackboard and asks them to follow .)

T: (doing the action of playing the piano,write play the on the top left corner on the blackboard) Can you play the piano ? ( asking with the action of playing the piano )

S5 : No , I can’t .

T: Can you play the piano ?

S6 : No , I can’t .

( Find a student who can play the piano . The teacher should make an investigation in advance and know who can play the piano , violin or guitar .)

T : Can you play the piano ?(Zheng Ruofei)

S7: Yes , I can .

T : How often do you play the piano ?

S7 : Once a day .

T : She plays the piano once a day –that’s seven times a week .I think she’s a good piano player . ( show the picture of the piano player ). She is a piano player .(facing to the whole class and pointing to the picture ). ( show the picture of a basketball player ) look , he is a player , too .and she is a player ,and he’s a player,too . Are they the same ?

C : No .

T : What is the difference ?

S8 : The first is yundongyuan . The second is yanzouzhe .

T : Very good .Remember it ?

C : Yes .

T : Now , let’s continue listening to the music . This time ,I want you to listen to two kinds of music .After listening , tell me want musical instruments are they ?...

T : The first music is making by a _____. The second music is making by a _____ .

(The teacher shows a violin on the blackboard and write the word , then ask some students to read .) T : ( ask all the students ) Do you like the violin ?

S9 : Yes / No .

T : ( ask one of the students ) Can you play the violin ?

S9 : No , I can’t .

T : ( ask another student ) Can you play the violin ?

S10 : No , I can’t .

T : Who can play the violion ? …… Nobody ? (show violin player) !

T : The second is a guitar music .This is a guitar .

(The teacher sticks a guitar on the blackboard and write the word , then ask some students to read .)

T : Can you play the guitar ?

C : No , I can’t .

T : What can you play ?

C : I can play the ____ .

T : Can you play the guitar(Zhao Tian) ?

S11 : Yes , I can .

T : Excellent ! He is a …

C : Guitar player .

T : Well done . Piano , violin and guitar are Western things , there’s a Chinese musical instruments ,that is ____(show the picture of erhu)

C : Erhu .

Class , look at the blackboard. Let’s read four words together .

C : Piano , violin , guitar , erhu .

T : The piano , violin , guitar and erhu make music . The piano , violin ,guitar and erhu make music . ( Draw stave and music notes on the blackboard and write the word “ music “ under it .) Read after me , music .

C : Music .

(find some students to read )

T : Singing is music , too . ( The teacher sings a  song ) Yes ?

C : Yes .

T : Who can say the sentence .

(ask some students to read the sentence “ The piano , violin ,guitar and erhu make music ”)

B ) Sentence Patterns(句型) :

What’s your favourite : piano , violin or guitar ?

like the ____ .But I like the____better .  I like the ___ best .

T : Class , these four musical instruments , what do you like ?

S12 : I like ____ ./ I like ____ and ____.

T: I like the violin . (Then the teacher sticks a heart under the guitar and writes the sentence beside it ) .

If a student say“I like two of them”,the teacher ask him or her which one does he like better. If there’a someone who likes three of them , the teacher should ask what’s your fovourite ?

II ) Practice(练习)

T: Class, I will give you several minutes to practice in pairs. Use more sentences as possible as you can . first ,I will give an example .

T : Have you finished ? Which group wants to have a try ?

IV) Use The Student Book And Audiotape(使用学生用书和录音机)
