explore ( a mountain, a desert, a forest), visit( famous museum, cities).

would not like to, would prefer not to, hate, can’t stand
2. 语言技能目标:基于话题形式,提高信息整合能力,总结归纳学过单词短语。
3. 情感态度目标:体验在真实情境中运用所学语言知识的乐趣,提高用英语表达的信心。
4. 文化意识目标:了解不同国家的旅游文化,激发学生通过旅游来开阔视野和陶冶情操。
教学重难点
教学重点和难点:
重点:基于选择旅游假期的话题,对所学词汇整理归纳并熟练运用。
难点:准确运用所学的旅游词汇、句型表达旅游决定意向和原因。
教学过程
T shows some vivid pictures and music of students and teachers’ travel last summer.
T asks the students what information they need to take into consideration before going travelling.
T presents some pictures of Greenland, South Africa, the USA, Turkey and guide students to fill in the blanks using the given verb phrases.
T asks students to fill in the word bank in their handsheet.
Ss listen to a conversation and fill in the blanks.
T draws Ss’ attention to the factors the conversations mainly covers about choosing a holiday.
T makes make a modeling about choosing a holiday according to the accommodation, transport.
Every four Ss discuss in a group about choosing one place they want to go and one place they don’t.
Presenters presents their group discussion and the rest of the students listen and reconsider their choice and vote for the most popular holiday.
T guides Ss to make a summary and share some one famous saying about travelling.
课后习题
Homework:
Write a composition about “choosing your holiday” and write down at least three reasons.
