Lesson 12 Which is your favourite subject?

本课通过谈论在校所学课程的话题,学习使用引导的特殊疑问句。

教学目的及重难点分析:

1 会说会用这些句子:

Which is your favourite subject?

How many subjects do you have at school?

We learn Chinese, maths, English, Science--

2.会说会用会写这些单词: subjects, Science, art, PE, ME,learn

3 要求学生会用所学句型和单词谈论自己所学的课程。

4 要求学生会用英语介绍自己的学校生活。

课前准备:

1 教师准备课程表等。

2 录音机和相关部分的录音带。

3 subjects, science, art, PE, ME,learn 的单词卡片和实物。

4 教师准备各种课本。

5 师生各准备调查表一份。

6 71页的挂图。

教学过程:

1. 热身(Warming up)

1)老师通过情景对话引出话题,

T :Do you like coming to school?

Ss: Yes, I do.

T:How many subjects do you have at school?

Ss: We learn eight subjects all together. Chinese, maths, English, music, art, science, ME and PE.

T: Which is your favourite subject?

Ss: My favourite subject is English.

T: Do you like your English teacher?

Ss: Yes,I do. She speaks English well. I like her very much.

2.新课展示(New Presentation)

老师通过各种课本讲解本课重点句型及词汇。

1)T: Do you like coming to school?

Ss: Yes, I do.

T: Do you like English?

Ss: Yes, I do.

T: Which is your favourite subject, Chinese, maths or English?

老师将几本课本放在一起说:Chinese, maths or English are subjects. Subject, subject, subject. They are all subjects.

Ss: English is my favourite subject.

2)T: You have many other subjects, what are they?

老师边拿出各课的课本边一一引导学生说:They are music(示词卡或课本), art(示词卡或课本),science(示词卡或课本), ME(示词卡或课本) and PE(示词卡或课本)。

Ss: Oh, They are music, art, science, ME and PE.

3)T:老师把所有的书放在一起问: How many subjects do you have at school all together?

Ss: All to-ge-ther? What does that mean?

T: All together (总共)例如:There are twenty-five girls in our class. and there are twenty boys in our class. So there are forty-five pupils in our class all together.

Ss: Oh. I see.

T: How many subjects do you have at school all together?

Ss: Let me see. 师生一起扳着指头边说边数:Chinese, maths, English, music, art, science, ME and PE. We learn eight subjects all together.

4)T: Do you like PE?

Ss: Yes, I do.

T: Why?

Ss: We can play football/jump rope/play games/play basketball in PE class.

T: Do you like Mr. Liu very much.

Ss: Yes, of course.

T: Which is his favourite subject ?

Ss: His favourite subject is PE.

T: But he likes English too.

老师引导学生说:His favourite subjects are PE and English.

3. 巩固活动:

1)老师让大家拿出事先准备好的调查表,通过Which is your favourite subject ?来调查,看大家最喜欢哪门课?

2)老师让大家分别做自己最喜欢上的课上的活动,然后前后左右互相问答,如:

S1:How many subjects do you have at school? What are they?

S2: We have six subjects ,they are English, Maths, PE, Chinese, Music,and art.

S1:Which is your favourite subject?

S2:My favourite subject is PE.

S1:Why?

S2:We can play football in PE class. What about you? Do you like PE?

S1: No, I don’t like PE.

S2 : Which is your favourite subject?

S1:My favourite subject is art.

S2 : Why?

S1: We can draw pictures in the class.

4.听录音学习对话:

T: Let’s listen to a dialogue, then answer the questions.

(播放对话部分录音,抢答问题)

T: How many subjects does Tom have at school?

Ss: He learns eight subjects all together.

T: What are they?

Ss: They are Chinese, maths, English, music, art, science, ME and PE.

T: Which is Tom’ favourite subject?

Ss: His favourite subject is PE.

T: Who is his PE teacher?

Ss: Mr. Liu.

T: Does Tom like Chinese?

Ss: Yes, he does.

5. 播放Listen, look and match部分录音.

听并连线,看看哪个句子和那幅图意匹配。

也可设计成游戏,让学生听并做相应课上的活动,或拿出相应的课本。

6. 做Let’s Practise(I).Pair work让学生两两一组根据课表进行问答。

Which is your favourite subject?

My favourite subject is ---,I like --- very much. How about you?

Ma favourite subject is ---.这两句话.

也可以设计成开火车的游戏,让每一列的学生一个接一个的利用Which is your favourite subject? My favourite subject is ---句型来问答,看拿一列的火车先开到头。

7 .做Let’s practice(II) 看图说话。

读一读这段文字,看她是怎么介绍她的同学Zhao Yu最喜欢的科目,你能接着谈谈其他同学喜欢的课吗?

A: Look at the picture.(展示71页图片)

B; There are five students .

A; They are good friends and they study in the same school.

B: At school they learn many subjects like Chinese, English and maths.

A; Let’s talk about their favourite subjects. Zhao Yu’s favourite subjects are English and maths. How about the others?

B; Oh,

David’s favourite subjects are Chinese and Science.

Li Shan’s favourite subjects are English and art.

Wang Shi’s favourite subject is Maths.

Helen’s favourite subjects are music and PE.

这个练习也可以设计成让大家拿出巩固活动部分作好的调查表,把自己的调查情况介绍给大家。
