Step1: Warm up.
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Miss Xian.
T: OK, today we are going to talk about and read about “weather”。
Ss: Weather.
T: It’s cloudy today, not sunny. But we are happy, because we will have the candy. And at this lesson, try your best to get the candy, OK?

Step2: Pre-reading

Ss: It’s sunny.
T: OK, please listen to the voice of the nature and try to guess what the weather is like.
S1: It’s rainy.
S2: It’s windy.
S3: It’s snowy.

Step3: While-reading
A.T: Gogo is flying in the sky, Gogo is flying to Zhongshan. Tomorrow he is going to some other places. Can you guess where is Gogo going?
S1: Is he going to Taipei?
S2: Is Gogo going to Shaoguan?

[评:第一次阅读,通过设置悬念,引导学生边听,边用眼睛阅读大屏幕上的图画和句子。视觉和听觉一齐使用,降低了学生阅读的难度。]

S1: Gogo is going to Shanghai.
S2: Gogo is going to Shaoguan.

T: Wow! So many places!But what’s the weather like? Gogo doesn’t know, so he asks the weather man. Peter is the weather man, this time try to find what the weather like in these places is.
