T: We learned the song Who’s the tallest? in Unit 9. Now, let’s s watch the flash-movie and sing the song all together.

(Ss watch the second and the third PPT, sing the song.)

(Show the 7th PPT, let Ss talk about it.)

3. Look and say. (1 minute)小精灵儿童网站

T: Their apples are so bad! They do not eat them. But they go shopping. What can they see?

S: They can see some……

(Ss express their idea.)

T: They can see so many things. What about these?… They’re trousers. And we learned pants before.

(Write the words on the blackboard and lead to read.)

T: Gogo, Tony and Jenny are doing shopping. They’re so happy. Look at the picture, where are they going now? Who can tell me?…

S: They’re going…

T: That’s great! They’re going to the super-clothes shop. Look, there are so many clothes there. Trousers, dresses, shorts, coats, sweaters, shirts, blouses… They’re all clothes.

(Repeat the word clothes and lead Ss to read the word.)

(设计意图:以一条主线引入语篇中的新词汇教学,直接处理新课中的部分难点,直观而紧扣课文内容,起到承上启下的作用。)

【评析:能紧扣故事主人翁Gogo, Tony 和Jeny的活动动向导入故事的学习,水到渠成,像trousers, clothes这些新事物,学生一下子就接受了其实际含义,为下面的语篇教学做了充足的准备。到引入整个故事、回答问题、复述故事都显得很自然。】

2. Learn the conversation. (10 minutes)

1) Pre-reading.

T: Look , children, Gogo, Tony and Jenny are in the shop now. What are they talking about? Let’s watch the flash-movie for the first time

(设计意图:整体呈现语篇内容,让学生初步了解课文大意,为下一步While-reading做铺垫。)

【评析:这一环节直接呈现整体语篇,课件使用恰当,吸引学生的注意力,让学生通过视、听两方面初步了解课文大意,以点带面。】

2) While-reading.

T: Children, look at the screen please, before we watch for the second time, please read the following questions loudly together.

(Ss read the questions Who found the cheapest T-shirt? Who found the worst T-shirt? Who found the best one? loudly.)

T: Well done. Now, let’s watch for the second time. And try to find out the answers of the questions.

(Invite some students to answer the questions by standing, to see if Ss can understand the content of Conversation. Show the answers through the PPT, help all Ss understand the content.)

(设计意图:让学生带着问题阅读,培养了学生的阅读习惯,回答问题可以辅助学生深入了解语篇意思,是检查学生获取知识的反馈。)

【评析:在学生观看完第二次课件以后,进行解答问题,让学生深入了解课文内容,也可以从中检测出学生的阅读理解能力之余教师从中还可以指导学生的阅读技巧,提高阅读能力。】
