III.Teaching steps :
Step 1 Warm-up/ Review
Sing a song “ Thank You, Mom.”
Free talk: Do you love your mother? What’s your mother’s job? What’s your father’s job?
Review some words.
Step 2 Learn to say
What does he/she do? He/ She is a/an…
Step 3 Practice
Ask the Ss to look and say with the teacher
Divide the Ss into two groups to act out the two dialogs
Ask two Ss to act out the dialogs for some times .
Step 4 Look and say
Listen to the tape & look at the English books and point to the pictures.
Listen to the tape again & repeat and circle the right answer.
Step 5 Ask and answer
Who is the girl? What does she do? Does Chen Ling want to be a singer? Why does Chen Ling want to be a singer?
Learn to write on page 68.
Step 6 Homework
Listen to the tape & repeat for some times .
Finish off the activity book of this Lesson .
