本课是《译林版牛津小学英语》(4B)Unit 4 Drawing in the park的第一教时内容，主要学习Story time。本节课呈现的是Mike和弟弟Tim在公园里一边看风景，一边画画的情景。围绕“在公园里画画”这一话题展开教学活动。学习用“What can you see…? I can see…”交流看到的事物，用“Can you…?”交流会做的事。

在教学过程中，通过游戏教学法，在轻松的氛围中巩固与本课内容相关的已知词汇及句型，为课文的学习做铺垫。运用任务型教学法，利用层层递进的任务让学生逐步了解、理解课文内容，并且能够初步表演对话。

在教学过程中，发现新单词已经在story time 之前讲完，句型也有所渗透，过度到语篇教学的时间较长。但是本文是以语篇教学第一课时，应该以story time 教学为主，因此，在前面导入铺垫的东西太多，应该放一些到课文中去讲解。在拓展部分，教学时间不允许，因此应该灵活机动适当删去教学拓展部分。可以把课文进行更多的朗读和句型操练，让课堂更加扎实。
