1.When I started to have my hobby

I really enjoy watching animated cartoons. When I was 2 years old, my father bought me my first cartoon, Tom and Jerry, a Walt Disney cartoon. It’s a story about a cat named Tom and a mouse named Jerry. Tom always wants to catch Jerry, but Jerry is so smart that Tom never catches Jerry and always hurts himself. It was so funny, my parents always watched it with me and we laughed together. From then on, I became to enjoy watching cartoons, and my parents bought me a lot of cartoons，such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh，Beauty and the Beast，Aladdin，The Lion King, Mulan.

2. How often I watch cartoons and who with

When I was a little child, I always watched cartoons 2 hours a day. But now, I can do that just during the weekend and holidays. When I go to school, I watch cartoons 30 minutes a day. When I sit on sofa, watch cartoon programs on TV, at the same time, eat potato chips, I think it is the best way for relaxation. My parents think if I can control the time I watch cartoons and do not affect my study, they will support my hobby. Sometimes they watch cartoons with me together, they like Detective Conan and The Prince of Tennis. I think that the most interesting things is watching cartoons with my classmates.

3. My favorite cartoons

I like watching all kinds of cartoons, especially Walt Disney cartoons and Japanese cartoons. In different period, my favorite cartoons is different. Before I went to school, my favorite cartoons was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Bear Winnie, and so on. All of them had beautiful pictures and lovely roles. When I became a student, my favorite cartoons was Chibi Maruko-chan. She was a lovely girl, a pupil of  Grade three, many things happened to her and her school was just the same in my school. She like hamburger and French fries, and I like, too. Her best friend is her classmate, and so am I. She hate doing morning exercises, and so do I. She like going for an outing, and I do ,too.

But Tom and Jerry is always my favorite cartoons.

4. Why I am interested in watching cartoons

I am interested in watching cartoons. Because I have learned a lot of knowledge and rules of life by watching cartoons. I have learned family love from The Lion King. I’ve learned friendship from The Bear Winnie and I learned cooperation from The Prince of Tennis. When I am tired, cartoons can make me relax. When I am bored, cartoons can make me happy, I love watching cartoons very much.

Several years ago, America cartoons and Japanese cartoons were interesting than Chinese cartoons. But Chinese cartoons are improved now. Many interesting cartoons had been made, such as Lotus Lantern and Happy Sheep and Gray Wolf. I hope when I grow up, maybe I am going to work related with cartoons and I hope I can do something for Chinese cartoons.
