The morning was cold and clear. A yellow bus came around the corner and stopped near a wood (树林). A coach asked the students to get off the bus. Girls began to gather by the starting line. If you want to do something for him, you can choose a day to celebrate, not his birthday. On his birthday, you don’t need to use candles, the 70th birthday card, or to write “70” on the cake.

If I were you, I’d pick a later but age-unrelated

(与年龄无关的) day. You can just make a big dinner and invite all your family members over. You can ask your parents for help, but don’t let your grandfather know that. Then the whole family can be together and have a nice conversation with him.
