Today the students of Grade 1 began to receive a one-week military training.  We got up at around 5 o’clock in the morning. The burning sun was shining. It was such a hot day that we couldn’t find any cool place on the playground.  From time to time I felt the sweat streams running down my face.  However, all of us were in high spirits and tried our best to do as the drillmaster told us to. Our drillmaster is a young PLA man, who is about 20 years old.  He was very strict with us. Through the military training, we have got to know more about military life and we have learned some knowledge of military affairs; besides, we have made several good friends.
