StepⅡ Quotation learning

Ask the students to read the four quotations and answer the questions.

A. We have really everything in common with America nowadays, except of course, language.

Step Ⅲ Fast-reading

Task 1 Read the passage and find four ways in which British and American English are different.

Task 2 Find the topic sentences from Paragraph 1 to Paragraph 4.
